A Staging Consultation is required before we are engaged to stage your home. Then working from our agreed upon action plan that we prepared in the consultation, we will ready the home for the market.
De-cluttering and storing away excess belongings (e.g., furniture, toys, off-season clothing, etc.) will be discussed at the consultation and takes place before the day of staging. We can provide names of professional organizers that we use frequently to help with these tasks. We can also provide a list of qualified vendors (e.g., painters, handymen, electricians, etc.) for any updates and repairs deemed necessary.
We spend time evaluating what furniture and accessories are needed to fit the style of the home and the profile of the target buyer. Furniture rental may be necessary, to supplement existing pieces. We may also recommend the homeowner rent our accessories to complete the look.
On the day of staging, furniture may be moved to other areas of the home where it is better suited, or removed all together to make rooms feel larger. Positive architectural details such as windows and fireplaces will be highlighted and the home will be dressed-to-sell.
